On Beauty, and Keeping Things Simple

I think somewhere along the way, beauty became very complicated.


There are so many products, so many steps, so many “must-do” routines that it almost feels like you’re doing something wrong if you’re not keeping up. And I see this a lot with my clients—they come in feeling overwhelmed, not knowing where to start, or feeling like they need to fix everything at once.


But honestly, beauty doesn’t have to be that way.


Over time, I’ve come to believe that the best results don’t come from doing more. They come from doing the right things, consistently.

Sometimes it’s as simple as understanding your skin a little better. Or knowing what actually works for your lifestyle. Because what works for someone else might not work for you—and that’s completely okay.


I always tell my clients this: your routine should fit into your life, not the other way around.


If you’re busy, your routine should be simple. If you’re someone who enjoys taking time for self-care, then it can be more intentional. There’s no “correct” way—only what is sustainable for you.


The same goes for treatments. You don’t need to do everything at once. In fact, it’s better not to. When you focus on one concern at a time and give your skin the space to respond, the results are often much better—and they last longer.


And beyond all of this, I think beauty is also about how you feel.


It’s not just about looking more lifted, or brighter, or clearer. It’s about feeling a little more confident when you walk out the door. Feeling like you don’t have to rely on so many layers to feel put together.


For me, beauty has always been about balance. Taking care of yourself in a way that feels calm, not stressful. Intentional, not excessive.


So if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: keep things simple, be consistent, and do what feels right for you.


Everything else will follow.
